Herman L. Maupin, 94, of Interlochen passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at home with his family by his side.
Herman was born on September 28, 1927 in Detroit, MI to the late Vola and Versie (Roberts) Maupin. He married the late Marjorie Cornell in June of 1953. They raised four children together. Marjorie passed away in October 1995.
Herman married Hildegard Anna Hahn in May 1997, who was his loving wife for the remainder of his life. Herman has six stepchildren, 30 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wesley Eugene Maupin and sister Maggie Louise Eads .
Honorably, Herman served our Country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his time in service he returned home to start his family and work in the chlorine industry. Herman enjoyed traveling, camping, and his model train hobby. Throughout his life he was an active church member.
