Jack Joseph Csernits, 75, of Kewadin, Michigan passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Munson Hospice House. Jack was born on June 8, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Elmer and Dorothy (Peterson) Csernits.
Jack Csernits along with his beautiful wife Julie lived in paradise on Lake Michigan, in Kewadin, Michigan. His life was his family, he was so proud of his children; Brett, Michelle, Max and grandchildren Hannah and Cameron. He had a passion for water and bass fishing his whole life. He was always at peace on the water.
Jack cared about others first. He took an active interest in everyone, always being present for his family, friends and colleagues because for him that's what life was all about, relationships, and especially his relationship to God.
Jack had an amazing, highly successful 35+ year career at JP Morgan Chase, (formerly NBD). Holding management and executive positions, helping thousands of people grow their businesses and personal lives. He was known for his positive guidance and advice, those who knew him would often say, "What would Jack do?" In later years, he would say to his family and friends, "Whenever you need my advice, just ask. Even if I'm not here, you will still hear me…"
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Julie, two sons and a daughter, Brett (Marina) Csernits, Michelle Csernits, Max Barry and two grandchildren; Hannah Christensen and Cameron Csernits. Also surviving are a sister, Sharon (Bruce) Moon, a brother, William (Vickee) Csernits as well as a niece, Laura (Jonathan) Barber and a nephew, Travis (Jessica) Wallage-Barber.
A memorial service celebrating Jack's life will take place at 10:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m., on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Kensington Church Troy, 1825 E. Square Lake Rd., Troy, Michigan 48085.
Cemetery Devotional and burial of cremated remains, will follow at 12:00 noon, at Guardian Angel Cemetery, 4701 N. Rochester Rd, Rochester, Michigan 48306.
