Jacob Riley Glass

Jacob Riley Glass, 16, of Traverse City passed away November 12, 2016 at Munson Medical Center.
Jacob was born on August 28, 2000 to Michelle and Dennis in Traverse City.
He attended Traverse City East Junior High and then eventually went on to home schooling.
Those who knew him knew that he had a true passion and love for a few things. He loved the Detroit Tigers and became the special guest of Dreams Come True with the Tigers in 2016. In addition to his devotion to baseball, he had a true fondness for Minions and Dr. Seuss. He played softball with the Special Olympics Dream Team and regularly looked over his abundant collection of signed jerseys and baseballs from the Tigers.
Jacob is survived and missed dearly by his parents, Michelle (Jeff) Stachnik and Dennis Glass, his guardian Judy Aebig, grandparents; Vern and Jill Baxter and Mary Glass, his siblings; Jillian and Josh Glass, uncles; Dave Glass and Bill Baxter and Aunt Deb (Ron) Franks. Also surviving are DJ and Shelby Stachnik, and special friends; Jen, Chris, Willy, Grace and Angie Ayers.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Glass.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Jacob will be held on November 17, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church; 203 N. Lincoln Street, Suttons Bay, at 11:00am with a visitation one hour prior. A luncheon will be following the service.

The family would like to thank; Jacob's homeschool teachers, the staff at Munson Medical Center and Kids Creek Clinic. Jacob's world was filled with all kinds of love for knowing each one of you.
