Jacqueline Hazel Leonard, 88, of Traverse City passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Orchard Creek Supportive Care. Jackie was born on February 8, 1930 in Detroit to the late Fredrick and Margaret (Sowersby) Bertram. She married the love of her life, Philip Lee Leonard on May 13, 1949 in Lake Orion, Michigan. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2013. Jackie was an Assistant Manager for Detroit Bank and Trust retiring in 1987. She moved from Wixom to the Traverse City area in 1991. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Northstar Investment Club. In her free time Jackie enjoyed; knitting, being outside, biking, camping and gardening. Above all, spending time with her family was her greatest joy.

Jackie is survived by her five daughters; Brenda (George) Freeman of Ludington, Nancy Page of Harrison Township, Sue (Jim) Lindsay of Ludington, Cyndi (Ed) Harris of Traverse City and Denise (Joe) Meyers of Free Soil. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Charlotte, Colleen, Brian, Stephen, Alycia, Michaela, Kirk, Jeremy and Kyle as well as 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip and a grandson, Christopher Page.

A memorial service honoring Jacqueline will take place at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster Rd., Traverse City, Michigan, 49686. Rev. Dr. William Myers will officiate.
