James Vincent Casey, Sr. passed away peacefully with family on September 29, 2014 at 11:11 pm. Jim was a devout Catholic with tremendous faith; generous and caring family man; successful and passionate entrepreneur; and an active member of both the Grand Traverse and Jensen Beach, Florida communities.

Jim is survived by his wife Lorraine, daughters Katherine, Barbara, Janice, Nancy and Caren, and son Jim as well as fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation for Jim will be held at from 3-8pm, with a scripture service held at 7pm on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am with a visitation beginning at 10am at Christ The King Church. Fr. Cotter will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Mary's of the Woods.
