James Allen Cummins' Obituary
James Allen Cummins, 87, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2021, at his home. James was born the son of Stephen and Jennie (Hicks), July 4, 1934, in Detroit, MI.
He is the beloved husband of Jan, united in marriage August 28, 1965, in Clawson, MI and married for 56 years. He was employed at Consumers Power for 41 years.
James is survived by his loving wife Jan (Lehnhardt); children Michael (Jill), Kathy (Kevin), Amy and Matthew; grandchildren Lauren, Corey, Katelyn, Nathaniel, Evan and Sarah; sister-in-law Margaret Lehnhardt and many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and nephew Greg Cummins.
