James "Jim" E. Hoffman

James "Jim" Edward Hoffman, 71, of Traverse City passed away Oct. 22, 2021. He was born Dec. 12, 1949 in Uvalde, TX, son to Cyril and Geraldine (McGraw) Hoffman.

Jim and his wife Paula have lived in the Traverse City Area since 2008, moving from San Antonio, TX. He was long-time employee of AT&T, working as a customer service representative. Jim attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Paula (Nelson) and brother-in-law Larry (Connie) Nelson, as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Susan Schultz and Mary Mitchell; brother Billy Hoffman and brother-in-law Wayne Nelson.

A scripture service will be held Friday, Nov. 5, 5:30PM, at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Burial will take place spring 2022.
