James William Getty's Obituary
James William Getty of Traverse City, 76, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. Jim was born to William and Helen (Stoll) Getty on July 9, 1946, in Dundee, Michigan. He is survived by his longtime partner Sandra Lovano; several step children, nieces, nephews in Michigan and Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Gerald Getty and LaDonna Jordan.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Holiday Glen Eagle, 3950 Sumac Drive, Traverse City, Michigan 49684. Under the auspices of the United States Navy and the Cherryland VFW Veteran's Honor Guard, military honors will be presented.
