James Robert Johnston, 33, of Traverse City passed away July 4, 2023.

James was born on September 16, 1989 in Flint, MI. He loved everything to do with Bikes, riding around on the Tart Trails, and visiting his friends. He will be remembered as a thoughtful and caring person who truly enjoyed helping his family and friends in any way it was needed. His heart was undoubtedly bigger than most. His beautiful soul and laugh will live on forever.

James will be missed by his brother Michael (Jessica) Johnston, his mother, Kathy Johnston, his uncles Kevin and Tim, his grandmother Donelda, his niece Avery, his favorite dogs Barley and Otis, and many other loving family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Friday July, 14, 2023 In The Gardens at The Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 10am.
