James Allen Kuehling, 47, of Chicago, formerly of Traverse City, passed away on July 7, 2014 at his home in Chicago, IL where he had been living and working for the past several years. James was born on May 26, 1967 in Traverse City to William T. and Joyce E. (Goodrich) Kuehling.

James is survived by his mother, Joyce E. Kuehling of Traverse City, his three daughters, Ashley, Brittany and Courtney Kuehling, all of Traverse City, grandchildren; Kayleigh, Mason, Brantley, Jaxson and Christian, three brothers; William, Thomas and Mark Tarker, all of Traverse City and his twin sister, Janelle Kuehling of Standish, MI

James was preceded in death by his father, William T. Kuehling.

A funeral service honoring James will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 6th Street, Traverse City with visiting one hour prior to the service. Fr. Anthony Citro will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
