GRAND RAPIDS — Two weeks after coming into the world, Jameson Noah Thai Chapman passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents at the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1:24 p.m. Jameson gave us a lifetime of love to those he touched during his short time on earth. He was born on Saturday, April 18, 2015.
Jameson was the son of Greg Chapman and Michelle Nguyen of Traverse City. He is survived by his brother, Owen Chapman, CA; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Reed of Traverse City; and maternal grandparents, Chien Phan of St. Petersburg, Florida and Tuyet Nguyen of Manistee, his paternal great-grandparents, Lucy Daniels of Suttons Bay and Sharon and Don Chapman for Monteca, CA.
He is further survived by his uncles and aunts; Amanda and Zachary Bryan of Fairbanks, Alaska; Melody and Colton McAllister; Justin and Cindi Nguyen; Christine and Allen Woodard; and cousins; Kali Woodard, Abbey McAllister, Ayla McAllister and Keagan Woodard.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Private family funeral services will take place at a later time.
