Jamie Dale Kraak, 34, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on April 17, 2015.He was born February 23, 1981 in Traverse City. The son of Kevin Kraak and Linda Unke.
Jamie is survived by his parents Linda and Walt and Kevin and Carol; his sisters Amanda (Colbye) O'Neil, Samantha (Kyle) Peterson, Ashley Unke, Kristy Boomer and his brothers Wilson Unke and Eric Boomer.
He also leaves behind his wife Morgan, his daughters (dogs) Xena and Luna, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A son, a brother, a friend, a beautiful soul. A cute, toe headed, adventurous boy. A skateboarding, snowboarding, fast moving, car-loving, lanky teenager, and a thoughtful, caring, pit bull-loving, handsome young man. His true nature was sensitive and ambitious, a dreamer and a planner and a hard worker with a beautiful heart.
Jamie loved vehicles, would take things apart just to see how they went back together, loved animals, and was a joyful person. "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart" ~ Hellen Keller. Jamie's heart was full of the best and most beautiful. We all smile brighter because we knew him. Jamie was always there for a friend, always ready to be his animated, goofy, silly self and look at you with his deep eyes and really try to see you. He loved many in his life and especially his "babies", his dogs, Xena and Luna. They loved and looked after each other on this Earth.
Ultimately, everything is temporary but love. Love outlives us all. So it is with love that we will be holding a memorial to honor and remember Jamie.
