Jane J. (Ennis) Ball, 53 of San Diego, CA and formerly of Traverse City, a true angel, received her wings and went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2014.

Jane was born on November 26, 1960 in Royal Oak, MI to Earl H. and Beverly Solem Ennis. She married Randy Ball on July 3, 1982. Together they lovingly raised one son Brandon.

Jane was retired from a very successful career as a hair stylist. She enjoyed going to the beach, traveling (especially to northern Michigan) spending time with her family, friends and pets Coco, Ming and Chilly. Her church family lovingly referred to her as "Sweet Jane". Her wonderful smile and personality was infectious and she brightened every room with her presence. Jane was dearly loved by everyone who knew her and will be truly, greatly missed by all.

Surviving Jane is her husband Randy of 31 years, son, Brandon Ball both of San Diego, CA, her parents, siblings, Earl "Skip" (Sharon) Ennis IV, Joan (Donald "Jake") Williams Jr., all of Traverse City and many other loving family members and friends.

Jane is preceded in death by her brother Robin Ennis and nephew Kyle Morrison.

A memorial service will be held for Jane at 11am on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 10am. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of one's choice
