Traverse City - Jane Ione Borstler, 83, passed away on November 27, 2023, in Traverse City.
She was born on June 9, 1940, in Reed City, Michigan, to Howard and Glady (Perkins) Remenap. Jane grew up alongside her siblings Kay, Mary Lou, and Beth.
On September 9, 1959, Jane married William 'Bill' Borstler. Together, they built a life filled with love and shared memories until his passing.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathlyn (Jack) Maker and Michelle (Greg) Marsh, as well as her grandson Adam Panks and granddaughter Kaitlin (Tom) Maillie. She is also survived by her sisters: Kay (William) Cansfield, Mary Lou Long and Beth Remenap.
Jane was preceded in death by husband Bill and her parents Howard and Gladys.
A funeral service to celebrate Jane's life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Visitation will take place after the service.
