Obituary

Jane Parsons Evans passed away peacefully July 19, 2018 surrounded by her beloved husband Tom and her two daughters Julie Rogers and Amy Rullo.
Jane was born October 23, 1933 in Grand Rapids and graduated in 1955 from Principia College. While working for Mademoiselle in Chicago, she met Thomas Fredric Evans whom she married in 1957. Tom and Jane lived in Indianapolis where the girls were born. She was a member of the Indianapolis Junior League.
In 1968 the family moved to Princeton, New Jersey where Jane was involved in the PTA and honed her love for antiques.
After returning to Indianapolis, she efficiently coordinated a convention for the White Water Presbytery, served as the Executive Assistant to Mitch Daniels at Hudson Institute, and kept an eye on her grandsons while working for First Friends Meeting.
Every summer the family came to Leland, where Jane and Tom eventually retired. Jane was a volunteer at the Leland Library, a member of the Leland Women's Civic Club and enjoyed the company of her Stitchers club.
Jane never met a stranger and she will be greatly missed by all of her friends near and far. She is survived by her husband Tom, her two daughters, Julia (Michael) Rogers and Amy (Tom) Rullo as well as her grandchildren; Malcolm Rogers, Joshua Rogers and Jessica Rullo. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Josephine as well as her sister Prudy.
