Janet Louise O'Neill, age 86, formerly of Blissfield, Michigan, died on September 3, 2021. She was born June 21, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Marjorie (Heaton) Reuscher. She was employed as a secretary by Owens Illinois in Toledo and San Francisco for 13 years. On August 14, 1965 at Blessed Sacrament in Toledo, Ohio she married Kenneth W. O'Neill. She enjoyed reading and quilting. Janet was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Blissfield.
Janet is survived by daughter, Molly (Charles) Klettner of Traverse City; sons, Patrick O'Neill of Chicago, IL and Stephen (Teresa) O'Neill of Owosso, MI; son-in-law, Paul Conner of West Des Moines, IA; brother, Robert (Margo) Reuscher of Knoxville, TN; and grandchildren, Michael and Kelly Klettner, Sean, Scott, and Kevin Conner, and Ryan and Grace O'Neill. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; her daughter, Kathleen "Casey" (Paul) Conner of West Des Moines, IA; and brother, John (Deana) Reuscher of Adrian, MI.
The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1025 S. Union Street, Traverse City, 49684. Visitation will precede Mass from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church. Burial will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Blissfield, Michigan on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
