Janice Lee Rinal, 79, of Interlochen passed away April 23, 2021 at Munson Medical Center.

Janice was born on July 24, 1941 in Traverse City to the late Ronald Michael and Ruby Irene (Monroe) Hinshaw.

Her son, Ronald Thomas "Tiger" was born on May 2, 1965. On February 13, 1982, Janice married Richard Rinal in Las Vegas.

Janice worked for Sara Lee and Burwoods. In her free time she enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, and storytelling.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ronald Thomas "Tiger"; sister Ann Maurina and brother Thomas Hinshaw.

Janice is survived by her sister Ruth Himburg; nieces Alane (Darren) Howell, Alicia Scramlin, and Michele Fasel; nephews Darrell Maurina, and Erick (Jocelyn) Bohrer; great nieces Kristen, Abbie, and MacKenzie, and great nephews Chris (Stephanie) and Zachary.

Janice will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery. A small private graveside memorial will take place on May 12, 12:00pm. An option to attend by Zoom will be available due to COVID-19.
