Jeanette Elizabeth Daniel

Empire - Jeanette E. Daniel, 80, of Empire passed away June 10, 2017 at her home.

Jeanette was born on December 14, 1936 in Royal Oak to the late Charles and Margaret (Jones) Bedson.

On August 4, 1960, Jeanette married Richard Arthur Daniel in Royal Oak. Jeanette was a registered nurse. She worked at the Harper Hospital. They lived in Bloomfield Hills before moving to Empire in the 1990's. During her retirement, she enjoyed being active at the Empire United Methodist Church and served as their recording secretary. She was also on the library board for 20 years. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and playing Bridge.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents and her sister Dora McClary.

Jeanette is survived by her daughters Kathryn Daniel of Traverse City and Deborah (Michael) Husak of Rhode Island; grandchildren Laura and Alex Husak and Daniel and Charlie Rozanski; sister Carolyn (Frank) Mancuso of Empire and many other family and friends.

The memorial service celebrating Jeanette's life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11:00 am at Empire United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Empire following the luncheon.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cowell Family Cancer Center.
