Obituary

Jeannine Sue Yeiter, 84, of Traverse City passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City.

Jeannine was born on Friday, April 05, 1929 to the late Carl and Agnes (Brooks) Lute in Hammond, IN. She graduated from Hammond High School in 1947 and then attended Butler University. On Friday, May 20, 1955, she married Robert D. Yeiter in Lowell, MI.

Jeannine lived in Indianapolis, IN prior to moving to Traverse City. She and her husband, Robert, owned and operated the Pinestead Restaurant. She had been a member of First Church of Christ - Scientist where she had served as First Reader, a soloist and a member of the board. Her hobbies included tennis and gardening.

Jeannine is survived by her husband, Robert D. Yeiter of Traverse City, son, Michael J. (Mary) Long and Curtiss R. (Christine) Yeiter all of Traverse City; daughters, Tracey C. (Frank) Cusenza, of Crystal Lake, IL, Robin D. (Michael) Noval of Los Angeles, CA and 7 grandchildren; Brian and Kelley Long, Josh and Corey Cusenza, Mason, Megan, Matthew (Marisa) Yeiter.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
