Jeffrey G. Gross

Jeffrey Gary Gross, 47, passed away early Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Traverse City.

Jeffrey was born in Saginaw, Mich. to Donald and Louise Gross on October 21, 1965. He attended Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw graduating in 1983.

Jeff married Angela Richardson on October 2, 1993 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Acme. He was employed by American Waste and previously employed by Hallmark Construction, Reith Riley, and Molon Excavating.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Angela Richardson-Gross and daughters, Amanda and Abigail. He is also survived by his father, Donald Gross and his wife Mary of Ithaca, his mother, Louise Wilinski and her husband Richard of Bay City, sister, Jill (Scott) Harriman and nieces, Crystal, Rebecca and Madeline of Swartz Creek, one nephew, Gregory Gross Jr. of Ann Arbor.

Jeff was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Gross of Saginaw.

Jeff was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Traverse City. Religion was a very important part of Jeff's life and he loved to share his belief with his family. Jeff enjoyed boating in the summer with his family, competitive golf games with his daughter Amanda, bowling with his daughter Abigail, and snowmobiling with his friends in the winter. Jeff had many close friends who shared his willingness to help others, his big heart, and his incredible sense of humor, but he will be remembered best for his out going personality, big hearty laugh and infectious smile. He will be so very missed by his family that he loved so much and by everyone who knew him.

Visitation for friends and family will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday, April 3rd at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Rev. Greg McCallum officiating.
