Jeffrey William Nash, 74, of Traverse City, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Metro Hospital Systems in Wyoming.
Jeff was born on Tuesday, March 21, 1939 to the late Wilford and Joy (Berkley) Nash in Traverse City. He graduated from Traverse City High School and then earned his associates degree at NMC.
Jeff was a member of Bayview Wesleyan Church, where he had served on the building committee as well as being active in other areas of the church. He spent many years working at Cherry Festival as well as being a member of the model airplane club and the sports car club. Many will remember Jeff from his print shop on West Front Street. He was an engaging person who loved people.
Surviving Jeff is his his sister Linda Nash and his brother Jim Nash, both of Traverse City; a nephew Timothy Nash of Ann Arbor and his great nephews, Oscar Layer of Kingsley, Avery Butterworth and Samuel Nash, both of Grand Haven. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Bayview Wesleyan Church, with Pastor Matthew Mabey officiating. Burial will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens at a later date.
