Jennie "Babe" Anne Goff, 89 of Acme passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.
Jennie was born on October 2, 1927 in Grand Rapids to the late Glen and Anna (DuPerron) Plucker. She married Walter "Shorty" Goff on September 15, 1947 in Traverse City.
Jennie worked for Woolsworths for over 17 years in all the different departments. She enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, knitting and beer. She was a previous member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Most importantly Jennie loved her family. She was a beautiful woman with a great smile that truly loved her cookies. Her sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Surviving Jennie is her daughter Sandy (Dan) Vipond; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jordan (Ashley), Jennie (Peter) Fay, Josh (Janice); great grandchildren Payton, Mallory, Mary Cait, Piper, Danielle, Britney; nephews Edwin (Gina) Worm, Mike (Darlene) Worm, Robert (Debbie) Worm, Danny (Cindy) Worm; special cookie nurse Carol Ann Long and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jennie is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Betty Worm.

A Graveside service will take place at the Acme Township Cemetery on Friday, May 26 at 11am. Pastor Paul Busekist will officiate. A luncheon will follow at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1050 Peninsula Dr. Traverse City, beginning at 11:45.
