Jerald "Jerry" Joseph Friedgen, 36, of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2018. Jerry was born in Oscoda, MI on November 30, 1981 to his parents Michael F. and Linda M. (Johnroe) Friedgen.
Jerry graduated from Tawas Area High School in the class of 2000 where he played soccer and was a member of band & pride. Jerry always tried to make people smile and laughed. He loved playing golf and being with his many friends and his dog "Dude".
He is survived by his parents; Michael and Linda Friedgen; brothers, David M. Friedgen and Michael J. Friedgen; foster sister, Paige Fleminger; and close friend, Aaron Brown; and his dog "Dude".
He is preceded in death by his; grandparents, Joseph and Dorothy Johnroe, and Sarah Friedgen.
A family memorial service will be determined at a later date.
