Jeremiah LaMont, 33 years young, will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving father and husband.
Jeremiah was born at Munson hospital July 16th, 1988.
He went to Traverse City schools and enjoyed his time at the Career Tech Center excelling in small engines. He had a passion for learning about all types of engines from small to large. He was currently building his son a go-kart from scratch building the motor, frame suspension teaching himself to weld and any other necessary skills to accomplish his task.
A true craftsman fixing or building all things from scratch always seeing the potential in things and Ashley joked he was a hoarder because we wouldn't throw any "potential" useful things away.
He took pride in taking care of his son and spent that last 6 years as a domestic engineer; taking care of the home and striving to always improve his home and make things better for his wife. On September 4, 2010 he and Ashley married on a day that offered 7 rainbows and a field of sunflowers. The beauty of that special day enhanced the true love these two had.
Jeremiah loved hard with all of his family. He had a passion for his hot rod and classic cars and mud trucks. The Lord has unexpectedly taken Jeremiah to be at home with him in heaven, at the throne. We will forever miss him here on earth and will cherish the memories and moments spent with him.
As he joins his mother, Deborah, and his brothers, Mark Lamont and Ryein Hildabridle, in heaven, he leaves behind his cherished wife and high school sweetheart, his son and best buddy Ryein, father Don Sterzik, brothers Chris LaMont (Roberta), Jesse laMont and Bill Sterzik (Charlotte), sisters; Alisha Coy, Jenny Lamont and Amy Shrewsbury (Matt), in-laws; Kathryn and Joe Hildabridle and brother-in-law Mason Hildabridle (Meagan), as well as nieces, nephews, grandparents.
A visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday March 16, 2022 from 2-3pm at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place also at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 3:00pm. Pastor Tim Manzer will officiate.
Those wishing an expression of sympathy may wish to contribute to the family for ongoing educational opportunities for Ryein in Jeremiah's honor.
