Jerome "Jerry" K. Springer, 80, of Traverse City, passed away September 20, 2021.

He was born in Allegan, July 9, 1941, son to Helen and Guy Springer.
Jerry grew-up and remained in Traverse City his entire life. He was the Quarterback in high school, back when there was only the Trojans. He was a 7th grade science teacher at Traverse City Junior High from 1970-1990, while coaching football. He also helped maintain and operate his in-law's family farm, Gray's Fruit Farm, on Old Mission Peninsula. He so was proud to support his family and community.

Jerry is survived by his children Todd Springer, Christine (Chris) Corrado and Michael Springer; grandchildren Noah and Ahna Springer, Emma and Matthew Corrado and Grayson and Celia Springer, as well as other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Barbara (Gray) and brothers Damon and Bill Springer.

Per Jerry's request, private family services will be held.
