Visitation for Jerry will be held at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. A funeral service for Jerry will follow on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the funeral home beginning at 11 AM; additional visitation one-hour prior. Pastor John Sowash will preside. Jerry will be laid to rest on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Clare, MI.

Jerry Carlton Jenkins passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by loving family. He was 73.

One of seven children, Jerry was born on May 2, 1946 to Lee and Edith (Richmond) Jenkins in Midland, MI. Jerry called Traverse City home for 34 years and eventually retired from Oleson's Food Stores. He found great enjoyment in golfing, especially at Bay Meadows Golf Course, and camping at Lake Dubonnet. An avid fan of racing, Jerry was a devout supporter of his nephews at the racetrack and baseball diamond.

Jerry is forever loved by his half siblings: Alan Jenkins, Deb Garrett, and Becky Bridge. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, deeply missed by many cousins and four-legged companion Lilly Ann.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dale Jenkins, and sisters Lois Sharp and Shirley Merritt.
