Jessie M. Johnson's Obituary
Jessie M. Johnson, 99 of Traverse City, passed away Saturday August, 4, 2018 peacefully at her home with her family at her side.
Jessie was born on December 16, 1918 in Pawtucket, RI to the late James R. and Sadie (Murray) Finlay.
She worked as a switch board operator for many years for Michigan Bell and as a waitress in the basement of the John Hancock Building.
Jessie will fondly be remembered as an amazing woman, loved by any who came in contact with her. She had a heart of gold and she is missed tremendously!
Surviving Jessie is her son Richard; grandchildren, Jeffery S. Johnson, Patrick R. Johnson, and Heather (Michael) Kinnee; grandchildren Brooklyn and Chance Kinnee, and many other loving family members and friends.
Jessie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Douglas.
Private family services will take place at a later time. Interment of her remains will take place at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens by her parents.
