EMPIRE- Joah passed away peacefully, at home with his family, after a two year battle with melanoma. He kept a positive attitude throughout and faced each obstacle with courage and good humor.
Joah was a special guy who had a positive impact on the people he knew. He remembered the names and circumstances of everyone he met, no matter how long ago. When people couldn't remember things, they would say "Ask Joah" and he would know. Along with his love for horses, music and restaurants Joah loved traveling and meeting new people. We wish you well, Joah, on your new adventure and will join you when you can give us the grand tour.
Joah will be missed by his Mom, Margaret (March) Dye of Empire, his Dad, Michael Dye of California and his brother, Daylen (Deanna) Dye of Grand Rapids; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins - and friends at every restaurant within a 100 mile radius.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to Leelanau Horse Rescue, Inc., P.O. Box 859 Leland, MI 49654.
