Joan Helen Chamberlain

Joan Helen Chamberlain, 77, born July 10th 1938 of Traverse City Michigan, died peacefully Wednesday December 16th 2015. Joan was an Alzheimer's patient at the Grand Traverse Pavilions and passed away surrounded by her family.

Joan lived a life of Lutheran faith to Jesus Christ and dedication to her family and friends. Joan was the child of Robert and Elma (Brown) Latimer of Lansing Michigan. On March 2nd 1957 in Royal Oak Michigan Joan married Charles Raymond Chamberlain Jr. Charles and Joan had four children; Robin (Stephen) Nance of Traverse City, Charles "Chuck/Chas" Raymond Chamberlain III (Dallas) of Cornelius NC, Randall Scott Chamberlain (Mari) of Traverse City and Brian Alan Chamberlain (Cathy) of Jackson TN. Joan is also survived by several grand children and great grand children, she is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Sharon, son Charles and grandchild Evan Nance.

A memorial service honoring Joan will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City, Michigan 49684, with visiting one hour prior. Pastor Chrysanne Timm will officiate.
