Joan Marie Sweeney, 90, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Williamsburg, MI, surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born on June 3, 1935, in Amityville, NY to the late Edward and Mary (Rigo) Pinter.

Joan was an active parishioner, first of Immaculate Conception and then of Christ the King Catholic Church, where she was involved with Cursillo, religious education (CCD), funeral luncheons and other ministries. She was also part of a regular bridge group, maintained friendships with her colleagues from Younkers at their monthly gatherings, and held season tickets to the Old Town Playhouse for decades. She became a resident of Autumn House of Williamsburg in 2021, where she enjoyed numerous social activities and events, and was grateful for the wonderful community and staff.
