Joan Boylan Werner's Obituary
Joan Boylan Werner peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013, after celebrating her 84th St. Patrick's Day.
A lover and resident of Traverse City since 1972, Joan is survived by Chris and Carol Werner in Georgia; Terry, Sharon and Sean Werner in Traverse City; Harley and Katie Werner Harp in South Carolina, and brother Michael in Alaska.
At Chris' wedding some 30 years ago, Joan was recognized with the Irish salute, "Here's to the best days of my life spent in the arms of another man's wife . . . here's to my mom." It is as fitting a sentiment from all of us today as it was then. May God love her and keep her.
A private family memorial service remembering Joan will be held at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society.
