Joanna "Caroline" Ordiway, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022. She left a legacy of love for her children and grandchildren.

Caroline grew up in Hessel, Michigan, and left her home on the big lake to go with her beloved husband, Sam, to farmland in Pickford, Michigan. She worked side-by-side with him on their dairy farm for many years. Hard work and inspiration were her go-to qualities, which she passed on to her children and grandchildren.

Even though she lived inland for many years, Caroline never lost her love for the big lake and went back there whenever she could. In her final years, she lived close to those lakes once again in Glen Arbor. Caroline will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be celebrated by Pastor David Loeschke at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6012 S. Lake Street, Glen Arbor, MI 49636. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Parking may be limited, so we encourage those joining Caroline's celebration to plan accordingly. Immediately following the service, there will be a time of fellowship, food, and refreshments.

Those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to a charity of one's choice.
