John G. "Jack" Perreault, 76, of Traverse City, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Cherry Hill Haven
Jack was born on Friday, March 20, 1936 to the late John and Agnes (Provost) Perreault in Hubbell, MI. The family moved to the Detroit area when Jack was a young child. He attended school there and graduated from St. Anthony's High School in Detroit.
Working in the office of production control for Vickers Hydraulics, John moved to Traverse City from Rochester in 2000 following his retirement. He was a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church, was a volunteer at Munson Community Health Center and enjoyed bowling,playing golf and playing cards.
Jack is survived by his sister, Nancy Perreault of Traverse City and his cousins, Shirley Goodrich and Patricia (James) Lizenby, all of Traverse City and Doug Provost of Berkley, along with extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Jack will take place Monday, July 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at The Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a Scripture Service at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24 at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Polycarp Mblarawa presiding. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Catholic Diocesan Cemetery.
