John T. Jorgensen, 49 , of Traverse City, passed away January 23, 2015. He was born June 10, 1965, to John A. and Ila (Pattenaude) Jorgensen, in Dearborn, MI. John's sudden death leaves a terrible void in the hearts of many.

John loved his Escanaba roots, NASCAR and many outdoor activities. John was predeceased by his father, John A.. John was a loving father to Amanda and Shane, beloved son of his mother Ila (Sue), and step-father Charlie Babel of Garden City, MI., loving brother of Lisa Marie and step-sister Nanci, godfather to Ryan and he will be remembered by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 28, 2015, at 3:00PM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, with visitation to be held one hour prior . Father Wayne Dziekan will be officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to John's family.
