John Douglas Mull, 63, of Traverse City, died in a motorcycle accident on Monday, May 7, 2018. His generous spirit, McGuyverlike skills, acerbic wit and wry humor will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

John was a flight medic extraordinaire, who had worked for Northflight EMS since 1986. He also worked for many years for the CART Champ Car Safety Team. John loved the work he did and the people he worked with. He also loved photography, guitar, and doing all things outdoors, especially with his dogs.

John was preceded in death by his wife Terri McGinnis and by his father John Mull of Saginaw. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Mull, and his sisters Suzy Ducker and Alison Connolly.

A memorial service celebrating John's life will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.
