Jordan Paul Nelson

Jordan Paul Nelson, 22, of Benzonia, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Jordan was born on Tuesday, August 29, 1995 to Eric and Rhonda (Berry) Nelson in Traverse City. He attended school in Traverse City and at Benzie County Central.

Gaming, cooking, and spending time with family were Jordan's passions. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre and spades, as well as Skipbo. Additionally, Jordan liked hunting, fishing, playing basketball and baseball.

Jordan is survived by his Mom, Rhonda (Kurt) Topous; his father, Eric Nelson, his sisters Amanda and Crystal Berry and Erica Nelson as well as his aunts, Theresa Spence and Belinda (Paul) Stack and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Faye and Violet Brendle and Marie Berry and his uncles William Berry and William Spence.

Funeral services will take place at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, with Pastor Chuck Towersey officiating, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
