Joseph Bartko, 86, of Kinglsey passed away February 4, 2017 at his home.
Joseph was born on December 2, 1930 in New Jersey to the late John and Emily Bartko.
On May 3, 1970, Joseph married Joanne Ide in Traverse City.
Joseph was a builder and a farmer. In his spare time he enjoyed wood working.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and siblings George, Harold, Daniel, Irene and Pauline.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joanne; children Gary, Gregory, Gloria Bartko-Thomas and Betsy (Monica Daniels) Bartko of Kenya; and grandchildren Alex and Madison Bartko.
The family will celebrate Joe's life privately.
