Joseph Anthony Pawloski (83) was born on 4/30/38 to Joseph M. Pawloski and Elizabeth Williamson. Joe attended high school at St. Francis and loved his time playing football there. Joe married the love of his life, Dawn Gildursky Pawloski and enjoyed 50 years of marriage with her. Together they raised five daughters, Laura (Troy) Lawicki, Beverly Pawloski, Jennifer ( Dan) Griffith, Julie (Ron) Blough and Nicole (Dan) Farkas. Joe was so proud of his grandchildren Lacy Snyder, Adam Lawicki, Lane Griffith, Shea Griffith, Phillip, Ryan, Paul, Ramsey and Zachariah Blough and Hanna, Jared and Olivia Farkas. He loved his great-grandchildren Jaxon Snyder, Evelyn, Addison, Cooper and Oliver Griffith. Joe had a special relationship with his sisters Betty (Mike) O'Koren, Jean (Don) Barron, and brother Pete (Karen) Pawloski as well as sisters in law Dort (Don) Chandler and Sandy Lovano.
Joe was a hard worker and took pride in providing for his family. He was a natural at fixing things whether it was a project at home, one of his daughter's cars or in his professional life. Joe enjoyed working at Iron Works for many years, spent time in construction and finished his career at Sara Lee in maintenance.
Joe enjoyed being involved in local government and helped with efforts to build a library for Blair Township. Joe liked to hunt, garden, watch his birds and cook. His soups were enjoyed by many. Joe knew Jesus and prayed many prayers for family and friends. Grandpa could always be counted on for a good "dad joke" and a chuckle as he watched his grandkids reactions. His strength, sweet spirit, humor and love for his family will be missed.
