---- — BATON ROUGE, La. — Josephine "Jo" Gassman, 82, of Baton Rouge, La., formerly of Traverse City, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2010, in Baton Rouge, La. Born April 21, 1928, in Reed City, Jo was the daughter of the late Otto and Bernice Pollaski.She is survived by her son, Howard (Terri Lynn) Andresen Jr., of Traverse City; her daughter, Dawn (Ben) Downing III, of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Amber (Frank) Rokos, Patrick Andresen, all of Traverse City, Joslyn Downing, of Baton Rouge, and Ben (Jolena) Downing IV, of Temple, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Camden and Brenden Rokos.The memorial service will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, at 4:30 p.m., at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
