TRAVERSE CITY — Joyce Emerson, 89, of Traverse City, passed away March 9, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Kenneth) Selden, of Spring Arbor, Janet (Patrick) Roskelley, of Traverse City, and Barbara (David) Burgess, of Kalamazoo; and grandchildren, Michael Roskelley, Susan Roskelley and Daniel Selden. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 2 p.m., at the First Congregational Church. Dr. Gary Hogue will lead the service of remembrance. She will be interred at the Church Remembrance Garden following the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to First Congregational Church or to the American Diabetes Association. The family is being served by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
