Judith Anne Weston, 76, of Traverse City and formerly of Ann Arbor, passed away Wednesday, April 06, 2016 at Cherry Hill Haven-The Nest in Traverse City.

Judy was born on Thursday, January 11, 1940 to the late William Frederick and Patricia Evelyn (Wood) Bellmer in Merced, CA.

A clinical nutritionist for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor for over 35 years, she retired and moved to Traverse City in 2004. She was an avid reader, loved spending time with her 2 cats and enjoyed many hours on the boat on East Bay with her friend of 47 years, JoAnn Weirich.

Judy is survived by her friend JoAnn, her step-father, John Weston of Fullerton, CA, a brother, John (Kathryn) Weston of Santa Rosa, CA; a sister, Kathryn Weston of Encinitas, CA, as well as her niece Patricia Zakoske and nephews Thomas Ladegaard and John Weston, Jr. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

JoAnn wishes to thank Brenna and the staff at The Nest for the wonderful care given to Judy and for the kindness shown towards her during her stay with them.
