Judith Ann Jandreski, 72, of Traverse City and formerly of Flint, MI, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012, after a very brief battle with cancer at Munson Medical Center.
Judith was born on June 10, 1940 to the late John "Pat" and Wanda (Hull) Mulvihill in Wyoming, MI.
She was a graduate of Lee High School before entering Central Michigan University where she met the love of her life. Entering into marriage on February 9, 1963 she began a life together with Harold Jandreski. Together they established a home and the family quickly grew with the addition of four children. Judy was a wonderful mother, deeply caring for her kids and always putting them first. In her children's growing years she could always be found cheering from the bleachers or giving an encouraging word no matter the sport or event. Even those outside her own family would recognize and know the ever supportive "Mrs. J". Judy was extremely hard working, not only raising a family, but also putting in long hours as a realtor to provide the best for her clients. Her experience and knowledge allowed Judy to excel at her work and provided for a career spanning over 30 years. She had a passion for antiques educating herself on each piece and even getting her hands dirty putting in many hours restoring the latest find to an original beauty. Judy was a beautiful and dignified lady that will be remembered for her hard work and dedication to her family.
Judy's memory will be cherished by her children, Todd (Aimee) Jandreski, of Traverse City, Jill Jandreski, Perri (David) Edel and Becky (Tony) Ferras, all of California; 10 grandchildren, Amelia, Collin, Hunter and Elise Jandreski, Ally Edel, Isabella and Olivia Jandreski, Madisen, Anthony and Ava Ferras; one sister, Jenny Maynard; one brother, Terry (Marge) Mulvihill; as well as family members, Shirley (David) Upthegrove, Alfred (Judy) Jandreski, and Genevieve Jandreski; and many other loving family members and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Hal this past July, her sister, Kathy and and a sister in infancy as well as her parents.
