Judith "Judie" Marie Strbik, 82, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025. She was born on June 9, 1942 in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Julius and Sophia (Dombrowski) Horvath. She married the love of her life Joseph "Joe" Strbik on June 26, 1965 in South Bend.

Judie earned her associates degree in accounting from Lansing Community College. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, playing tennis, sewing, and Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging). She was a school volunteer when her boys were young, a hospital gift shop volunteer and a member of the Traverse City Elks Lodge.

Judie is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Joe, her three sons, Todd Strbik, Garret (Laura) Strbik and Scott Strbik. Also surviving are a granddaughter, Alicia Strbik and a sister, Carolyn (Fred) Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Meek.

In accordance with Judie's wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Her Life is being planned for a date in May.
