Judith Catherine Vetula, 69, of Traverse City and formerly of Garden City, MI, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Judith was born on October 19, 1943 to the late John and Julia (Magolan) Zaremba in Detroit, MI. On October 21, 1961 she entered into marriage with John Vetula.
Judy made her home in Traverse City over ten years ago after many years in Garden City and Hamtramck and a brief time in Phoenix.
Judy enjoyed the water and like to go swimming or take her family to the beach. She was a strong-minded, outspoken and driven women who maintained an energy to never quit. Judy truly loved her family and cherished the time she had with her grandchildren.
Judith is survived by her loving husband, John Vetula of Traverse City, her four children John, James, Debra and Robert, ten grandchildren, Mary, Ian, Johnny, Jimmy, Joe, Parker, Amy, Gina, Hunter, and Julianna, her dear friend Dale and many other loving family members and friends.
A private family vigil will be held with Deacon Rene Hoenscheid officiating.
