Judith Ellen Weston

Judith Ellen Weston, 76, Traverse City, passed away on April 21, 2015. Judith was born on November 17, 1938, in Wayne, MI., to her parents the late Jennings P. and Lela May (Haynes) Brown. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Wayne and attended 2 years at Eastern Michigan University.

She married Michael G. Weston on November 26, 1960, and the couple lived in Wayne and Marysville before moving to Traverse City in 1978.

Judith had a strong faith and was very active in her church. She enjoyed traveling with her sister Janet, sewing, reading, and a nightly glass of wine.

Judith is survived by; two sons, Mark J. (Kimberly) Weston, David M. (Kelli) Weston; grandchildren, Jacob and Lauren Weston, Alexis and Megan Weston; a sister, Janet M. Garr.

She is preceded in death by her husband Michael (12/2/2004).

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 26, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Archangel Gabriel Greek Orthodox Church located at 1030 Hastings Street, Traverse City. A funeral service will be held at the Church on Monday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery will follow the service.
