TRAVERSE CITY — Judith Marie White, 59, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at Munson Medical Center, with her family by her side. Her death was due to a Leukemia-related complication. Judy was born in Traverse City on Feb. 19, 1951, to the late Ronald and Virginia (Jackman) Deal, of Williamsburg. She married Lyle White, and after his death she met and began a new life with Kenneth Stouffer. Judy was employed by Turtle Creek Casino as a housekeeper and previously by Morrison Fruit Processing Company. She loved the outdoors, everything from hunting, bird watching, fishing and sitting around the camp fire. She also enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles, video games and spending time with her dog, Lady. Surviving Judy are her dear love, friend and partner, Ken; brother, Paul (Nancy) Deal, of Texas; nephews, Ron (Tania) Deal and Michael (Natalie) Deal; great-nephews, Layne, Logan and Parker; aunts, uncles and many cousins.Judy was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lyle.A memorial service will take place at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at 4 p.m., with a visitation held one hour prior. Memorial contributions may be directed to the National Leukemia Society or The Humane Society.
