BUCKLEY — Judy A. Culp, 66, of Buckley, passed away at her home with family by her side on May 10, 2011. Judy was born Sept. 19, 1944, to Clinton and Opal Cudney in Grand Rapids. After spending some time in Copemish, she moved to Buckley and found employment at the Traverse City State Hospital, where she worked for over 20 years. Judy had four wonderful children. On Jan. 4, 1991, she married Roy Culp Sr. in Traverse City. Together they lived on a farm in Buckley, were Judy enjoyed many outdoor activities such as gardening, camping and mushroom hunting. In her free time she could be found doing needle-work. Judy is survived by her mother, Opal; children, Kristie Keeler, of Buckley, Clinton (Lisa) Keeler, of Buckley, and Byron Keeler, of Traverse City; brothers, Nelson Cudney, of Benzie, John (Dora) Cudney, of Wyoming, and Joseph (Kathy) Cudney, of Copemish; and sisters, Joy Buchanan, of Copemish, and Juanita (Dale Evens) Hunt, of Copemish. Judy is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Clinton Cudney; husband, Roy Culp Sr.; and son, Kenneth Keeler Jr. There will be no services for Judy at this time.
