Traverse City, MI – Judith Beatriz Haas, a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, in Traverse City, Michigan, at the age of 83. She was born on October 1, 1941, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to the late Francisco and Martha (Kotin) Bartha.

Judy, as she was affectionately known, spent her early life in her beloved Buenos Aires. Her journey brought her to Detroit in 1965 shortly after marrying the love of her life, Rodolfo Miguel Haas. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Judy's greatest joy in life was her family. She deeply loved her twin children, Steven Haas (Kirsten Keilitz) of Traverse City and Deborah Haas Kuhn (Christopher Kuhn) of Grand Rapids, and her grandchildren, Francisco Haas, Tomas Haas, and Torrence Kuhn. Her brother, Roberto Bartha, preceded her in death.
Judy's family is grateful to the staff of Meadow Valley Assisted Living and Munson Hospice who kept her safe and comfortable.

Per Judy's wishes, cremation has occurred. Judy's life was celebrated as she would have enjoyed with some of her favorite dishes, desserts, family, and friends.
