TRAVERSE CITY - On Saturday October 3rd Judy Diane Opie entered the kingdom of Heaven. Judy was a one of a kind wife to Cordell, her husband of nearly 60 years. Judy was also an amazing mother to her three cherished boys, and grandmother "Gama" to her seven grandchildren. Judy's 78 years here on this earth were richly blessed. Above all, her commitment to marriage and family have created a lasting legacy. Judy will be missed by all who had the pleasure to share life with her. Her spirit is sure to live on forever, until we are all reunited in God's kingdom.
The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Grand Traverse Pavilions for their excellent care and attention Judy was given throughout her time there.
