Julie Marie Muehling, 60, of Traverse City Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Munson Hospice House. Julie was born on August 30, 1964, in Jackson, Michigan, to Raymond and Judith (Lardie) Freundl. She married the love of her life Daniel "Dan" Muehling on May 28, 1983, in Traverse City.

Julie had been employed with Munson Medical Center for over 25 years. She held various positions in many different departments over the course of her career.

Julie enjoyed camping with family and friends, most recently at the KOA in Buckley. She loved northern Michigan, taking long rides to enjoy the scenery or visiting waterfalls throughout the region. Above all spending time with family and friends was her greatest joy.

Julie is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Dan A. Muehling, a son, Dillion J. Muehling, and her father, Raymond J. Freundl. Also surviving are a sister, Lynda S. Freundl and two brothers, Lawrence D. (JoAnne) Freundl and Richard J. Freundl.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith A. Freundl.

In accordance with Julie's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
